Because that feels controllable. Profiles with very strong photos and an outright bad bio still get matches. You almost never see the reverse.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">That actually says it all.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Photos determine:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"p1\">Whether she''ll keeps looking through your profile<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"p1\">Whether it will make her curious about you<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"p1\">Whether she is or isn't attracted to you<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p3\">The bio is next. You don't have to look at your own faults. You don't have to take a critical look at your appearance. You don't have to take pictures that might not make you immediately happy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">But that doesn't make it effective.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Rewriting a bio is a way for many men to <span class=\"s2\"><b>put off the real work<\/b><\/span>. A bio is an <span class=\"s2\"><b>amplifier<\/b><\/span>, not a life saver.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Without minimally good photos, a bio reinforces nothing.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:separator --><!-- wp:heading --><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:separator --><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d2186bf elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d2186bf\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Persoonlijkheid_laat_je_niet_zien_met_tekst\"><\/span><b>Personality doesn't show in text<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p3\">One of the biggest misconceptions is that men think:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">\u201cI want to show off my personality, so my bio has to be great.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">That's not how it works.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Your personality is largely already communicated through your photos:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"p1\">how you position yourself<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"p1\">how you look<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"p1\">where you are<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"p1\">how you present yourself<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p3\">That's who you are to the outside world. And I can be quite harsh about this.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">If you think you have to make your bio work on dating apps because you're \u201cnot photogenic,\u201d you're not going to make it. Dating apps are visual. There's no debate about that.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">That doesn't mean you have to be super handsome. It means your pictures have to be good.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">And even if you have to take a thousand photos to get one good one in between, it's worth it. Because one good photo can carry your whole profile.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Geen_detail_maar_de_basis\"><\/span><b>Not the detail but the basics<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p3\">If your photos work and you get consistent matches, then you're all set and your profile is doing what it's supposed to do.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">But if you've been on dating apps for a while and aren't seeing many results then be honest. The problem is rarely that one word in your bio.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">In many cases, tinkering with your bio is nothing other than procrastination for work you actually already know needs to be done.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Pictures are not a detail.
